We have helped graduate students at the University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Psychology adopt pets for over 15 years. Will you be next? We will provide up to $100 to help with the cost of adopting an animal from a pet shelter.

There are only a few requirements: First, the pet must be adopted or rescued, not bought from a breeder or a commercial pet shop. Second, you must be a graduate student in the Psychology Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Third, once you have adopted the pet, you must send us the pet's picture and name, so that we can post them (with your name) on this website.
